Who This Camp Is For

 

Recommended level: DUPR ~4.0+ (or equivalent competitive experience).

This camp is for players who:

  • Are preparing for Nationals (or similar tournament week) and want a clear preparation plan
  • Can already rally and play structured points and want to dive deeper into the nuances of their game
  • Want to sharpen drops, drives, resets, dinking patterns, transition skills, court positioning, and pressure execution  
  • Value performance habits: warm-up routines, between-match resets, recovery, and energy management because they understand this is what the best players are doing.

Programme Format

  • Duration of sessions: 5 days
  • Daily structure: 2 x 2-hour pickleball coaching sessions per day (PSO standard)
  • Physical Performance Blocks: Integrated 10–15 minute court-side performance segments embedded within each session
  • Integrated breath training and mental performance routines (court-side and practical)

Scott Tawse is a PSO Head Coach and founder of PickleWell Coaching, with 18+ years coaching racket sports and 10+ years in mental performance. An Advanced Oxygen Advantage® Instructor and mental fitness coach, he integrates technical training with breathwork, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and neuroscience-based mindset work—so players execute under pressure. An Open-level gold medallist, MiLP National Finals coach & captain, and All Stars Pickleball League athlete, Scott supports competitors to prepare smarter, compete calmer, and perform at their best.

 

Milly Hill

 

Milly Hill is a PT and health coach with over 15 years’ experience in the health and fitness industry. She brings a professional, athlete-informed approach to pickleball performance, combining strength training, movement quality, injury prevention, and longevity-focused preparation to help players move better, recover smarter, and perform consistently.

  • Do I need a visa for Turkey?
    British Citizens travelling to Turkey for tourist or business purposes may travel without a visa for visits of up to 90 days in any 180-day period. For any other citizenship please confirm with the relevant embassy and/or Consulates.
  • Can I get help with the entry requirements for Turkey?
    We are happy to assist you with general information about the entry requirements, but it is your responsibility to check and fulfil the passport, visa, health and immigration requirements of the country you are planning to visit for your own specific circumstances.
  • Are flights included?
    Flights are usually not included in our packages. However, we’re happy to assist with booking your flights and will recommend a group flight option for ease and convenience. When travelling on the group flight, airport transfers are included.
  • What happens to my transfer when my flight changes?
    If you have booked your own flight, we will adjust your transfer time once you have let us know the new flight time. If you have booked your flight with us, we take care of everything.
  • Will I have somebody at the destination as a main point of contact?
    PSO Travel representative or coach – and often both – will be staying at the same venue and available 24/7 to support you throughout your stay. In rare cases where hosting isn't possible, you’ll be informed in advance. Even then, a member of the PSO team will always be available by phone or message whenever you need assistance or advice.
  • Am I insured with your company?
    You are financially protected through our membership with the Travel Trust Association (TTA) and, where applicable, ATOL protection. Please note that ATOL protection is provided only when flights are included in your package and does not apply to group flights booked separately. While we ensure financial protection for your booking, we strongly recommend that you arrange suitable travel and/or sports insurance for yourself and your party before travelling overseas.
  • What if I need to cancel?

    <p>If you need to cancel, we will amend or cancel your booking and handle any refunds in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Depending on the circumstances, you may be eligible for a refund, offered the option to transfer your booking to another available date, or receive a credit that can be used for a future holiday.</p>

  • Do I need to bring my Tennis/Padel/Pickleball racket/bat/paddle along?
    Depending on th eresort, you may be able to rent a racket at the Tennis Centre, but we strongly recommend bringing your own racket/bat/paddle.
  • What currency can I use in Türkiye?
    The local currency in Türkiye is the Turkish Lira (TRY) However, euros, pounds sterling, and US dollars are widely accepted in many tourist areas, hotels, and shops. We still recommend having some Turkish Lira on hand for smaller purchases, tips, or local markets. Most places accept major credit and debit cards, but American Express (Amex) is rarely accepted so it's best to have an alternative card with you.
  • Can I join your holidays if I’m travelling solo?
    Absolutely! Many of our guests travel solo, and our holidays are designed to be welcoming and social. We can offer or help match you with another solo traveller if you'd prefer to share. It’s a great way to meet like-minded people and enjoy a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
  • Can I travel with someone who isn’t playing?
    Yes, non-playing partners and family members are more than welcome! They can relax and enjoy all the resort facilities while you take part in the sports programme. We’re happy to tailor the package to suit both players and non-players to ensure everyone has a great holiday.
  • Can I book private coaching during the holiday?
    Yes, private coaching sessions are usually available during your holiday. If you’d like one-on-one time with a coach to work on specific skills or get personalised tips, just let us know in advance or speak to the team on-site. Availability may vary depending on the schedule, so early requests are recommended.
  • Can the named coach for the holiday change?
    While we always aim to deliver the coaching experience as advertised, occasionally the named coach may change due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will ensure that a qualified and experienced coach leads the programme, maintaining the same high standard of coaching you expect from us.
  • Can I use the courts outside of the coaching sessions?
    Court availability outside of scheduled sessions depends on the resort. At some venues, courts are free to use when not booked for coaching or events. However, some resorts may require a reservation or charge a fee.
  • Do I need to attend every session?
    Not at all. While we encourage you to join as many sessions as you’d like to get the most from your holiday, it’s completely up to you. If you're feeling tired, achy, or unwell, feel free to take a break and rest—your wellbeing comes first. Whether you want to play all day or unwind by the pool, the choice is entirely yours.
  • Do I need to eat with the group at all times?
    No, you're free to dine whenever and with whomever you like. While we often enjoy meals together as a group—and it’s a great way to socialise—there’s absolutely no obligation. It’s your holiday, so you’re welcome to do what feels right for you.
