With over 25 years of experience playing at top-level tennis clubs across Turkey, the United States, and the UK, I’ve always found sport to be more than just a game — it’s a way to connect, grow, and create lasting memories. When we moved to the UK in 2016, my wife Zuhal and I sought out a local tennis club, hoping to meet like-minded people and continue doing what we love. That decision opened the door to friendships we still treasure today.

In fact, it was those very friends who asked us to organise our first tennis holiday to Turkey — and they loved it. When they asked for another the following year, we realised we had created something truly special. And that’s how PSO Travel began.

Since then, Zuhal and I have been pouring our shared passion for sport and travel into crafting exceptional racket sports holidays. With her 30+ years of expertise in the travel industry and my lifelong involvement in competitive tennis, we offer more than just holidays — we create uplifting, energising, and truly memorable experiences.

Today, I’ve expanded my love for racket sports to include padel and pickleball — both of which I enjoy immensely — and my latest passion, golf, has taken me to courses across the UK and beyond. No matter the sport, the goal remains the same: to bring people together through unforgettable sporting journeys.

With over 30 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, my passion for creating meaningful journeys runs deep. What began at the front desk of the iconic Hotel Grand Azur evolved into leadership roles with internationally respected tour operators such as Neckermann, Thomas Cook, and LTU, along with a guest-focused role at SunExpress Airlines. This diverse path has given me an insider’s perspective on every layer of the travel sector — and a sharp eye for delivering exceptional service.
As a licensed tourist guide with deep roots in Turkey, I’ve developed a unique blend of regional expertise, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to making every journey seamless. My background as a hotel contractor and buyer has also allowed me to form long-standing relationships with hotel partners, ensuring the best value and quality for our guests.

But travel is just one side of the story. Sport — particularly tennis — has been a lifelong passion. Since 2001, I’ve been an active member of the Turkish Tennis Federation and the British LTA, regularly competing with teams at David Lloyd Club. In recent years, I’ve added padel and pickleball to my list of favourites — both of which bring an exciting new energy to the court. I also find balance through yoga, pilates, and skiing — all part of the active lifestyle we champion at PSO Travel.

Fluent in Turkish, English, and German, I’m always ready to assist with personalised support and insider knowledge.

Together with my husband, we’ve blended our love for sport and travel into something more than a business — it’s a way of life. Two time coach of the European Championship winning England Masters team, Director of Coach Development for Pickleball England and IPTPA Master Teaching Professional. Rob’s recently became the only English student to be accepted to join the Brighter Pickleball Program, women’s world number 2 Anna Bright’s advanced training program. Relentlessly positive with surgical precision in his correction/analysis and an ability to empower players on court, he’s our head coach and founder of the pickleball side of the business with Zuhal and Yusuf. He’s also the captain and coach for the PSO PPL team.

Scott Tawse, Head Coach for Tennis & Pickleball, holds Level 2 IPTPA and Level 3 RPT/LTA certifications and is an Advanced Oxygen Advantage®️ Instructor. A certified Kovacs Institute Serve Specialist trained in neuroscience coaching, and Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness. Scott helps players master their mental game — building focus, confidence and composure under pressure.
