2. Responsibilities
All PSO Travel staff, coaches, and volunteers are expected to:

Prioritise the welfare of all participants

Act professionally and with integrity at all times

Report any safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead

Adhere to relevant safeguarding guidance, including local laws and best practices
3. Recruitment & Vetting
We take steps to ensure that individuals working with participants, especially in coaching roles or close supervision, are:

Appropriately qualified and experienced

DBS checked (where applicable)

Briefed on safeguarding responsibilities
4. Reporting Concerns
Any concerns about the safety or wellbeing of a participant must be reported immediately to our Designated Safeguarding Lead at info@polats.co.uk. All reports will be treated seriously and handled confidentially, with appropriate action taken as needed.
5. Code of Conduct
All participants, staff, and coaches must:

Avoid behaviour that could be considered inappropriate or threatening

Maintain appropriate boundaries at all times
6. Continuous Review
This policy will be reviewed regularly and updated as necessary to reflect current best practices and legal obligations.
