Meet The Pro
Susannah Barr
Top professional pickleball player Susannah Barr is currently ranked Top 10 on the APP World Tour. She has won 55 medals on the APP Tour alone, along with multiple PPA and international medals. She captained the Super Final winning MLP team, Chicago Slice, during the 2023 season and helped the Atlanta Bouncers move to Premier in 2024.
Susannah has been playing and teaching pickleball for over 8 years in more than 20 states and overseas. She is known for her pickleball IQ, positive attitude, and strong mental mindset.
She is a full-time touring pro, certified coach, and head instructor for the YouTube channel "The Flying Pickle Academy". She is passionate about the game and helping players of all levels develop their skills through challenging and enjoyable on-court experiences.
Depending on the size of the group, highly respected PSO coaches will be supporting Susannah during this masterclass.
Please note: The masterclass runs for five days; any additional days are for your own leisure to enjoy the resort or play independently (subject to court availinility) if you stay longer than 5 nights. You are also welcome to extend your stay to make the most of the resort’s facilities, including its exceptional spa.

DAY 3 - Playing Assertively

Playing Assertively: Midcourt, third shots (drops, drips, and drives), and dictating point construction

DAY 4 - All Things Aggressive

Volleys, topspin, attacks off the bounce, and attack patterns

Do I need a visa for Turkey?
Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Some travellers can enter visa-free, while others must obtain an e-Visa or apply through a Turkish embassy. PSO Travel cannot accept responsibility for any visa-related issues.

Can I get help with the entry requirements for Turkey?
We are happy to assist you with general information about the entry requirements, but it is your responsibility to check and fulfil the passport, visa, health and immigration requirements of the country you are planning to visit for your own specific circumstances.

What happens to my transfer when my flight changes?
If you have booked your own flight, we will adjust your transfer time once you have let us know the new flight time. If you have booked your flight with us, we take care of everything.

Will there be someone on-site as my main point of contact during the event?
A PSO Travel representative and event team members will be staying at the venue throughout the tournament and will be available to support you at all times.

Am I insured with your company?
You are financially protected through our membership with the Travel Trust Association (TTA) and, where applicable, ATOL protection. Please note that ATOL protection is provided only when flights are included in your package and does not apply to group flights. While we ensure financial protection for your booking, we strongly recommend that you arrange suitable travel and/or sports insurance for yourself and your party before travelling overseas.

What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel, we will amend or cancel your booking and handle any refunds in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Depending on the circumstances, you may be eligible for a refund, offered the option to transfer your booking to another available date, or receive a credit that can be used for a future holiday.

Do I need to bring my Tennis/Padel/Pickleball racket/bat/paddle along?
Depending on the resort, you may be able to rent a racket at the Tennis Centre, but we strongly recommend bringing your own racket/bat/paddle.

Do I need to bring my own towels?
The resort provides you with plenty of room towels and pool/beach towels.

What currency can I use in Türkiye?
The local currency in Türkiye is the Turkish Lira (TRY) However, euros, pounds sterling, and US dollars are widely accepted in many tourist areas, hotels, and shops. We still recommend having some Turkish Lira on hand for smaller purchases, tips, or local markets. Most places accept major credit and debit cards, but American Express (Amex) is rarely accepted so it's best to have an alternative card with you.

Can I join your holidays if I’m travelling solo?
Absolutely! Many of our guests travel solo, and our holidays are designed to be welcoming and social. We can offer or help match you with another solo traveller if you'd prefer to share. It’s a great way to meet like-minded people and enjoy a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.

Can I travel with someone who isn’t playing?
Yes, non-playing partners and family members are more than welcome! They can relax and enjoy all the resort facilities while you take part in the sports programme. We’re happy to tailor the package to suit both players and non-players to ensure everyone has a great holiday.

Can I book private coaching during the holiday?
Yes, private coaching sessions are usually available during your holiday. If you’d like one-on-one time with a coach to work on specific skills or get personalised tips, just let us know in advance or speak to the team on-site. Availability may vary depending on the schedule, so early requests are recommended.

Can I use the courts outside of the coaching sessions?
Court availability outside of scheduled sessions depends on the resort. At some venues, courts are free to use when not booked for coaching or events. However, some resorts may require a reservation or charge a fee.

Do I need to attend every session?
Not at all. While we encourage you to join as many sessions as you’d like to get the most from your holiday, it’s completely up to you. If you're feeling tired, achy, or unwell, feel free to take a break and rest—your wellbeing comes first. Whether you want to play all day or unwind by the pool, the choice is entirely yours.

Do I need to eat with the group at all times?
No, you're free to dine whenever and with whomever you like. While we often enjoy meals together as a group—and it’s a great way to socialise—there’s absolutely no obligation. It’s your holiday, so you’re welcome to do what feels right for you.
